Is there any way to change icons of language flags? I have a better ones (looks more distinctively) and want to use them, but i can't find the place where they are located in the program files...

Thanks in advance!

You cannot do it right now. Would you send to the Support some of your flags? I want to know size and format.
Maybe we can do something in next release.
Thank you for the post.

Thanks for the reply. I have only 2 icons here(taken from other keyboard indication program), i uploaded them:
http://www.uploading.com/files/XAAOYGUS/icons.zip.html

It's 16x16, 32-bit with alpha-channel pixels (for shadows).
This is the design i personally wanted to see in my tray, it's just my opinion.

OK. The flag icons will be in a separate file in the next release.

Done.

You have to place the file Flags.bmp to the folder "Program Files\ComfortKeys" and restart the program.
If you want to have a special flag just place it in Flags.bmp.
flags.zip

Thanks for this, but it won't allow to use 16x16 icons with alpha channel...

Yes. Because the flags are using for the different aim. Maybe later we will do it.

Hello again! I'm using the Comfort Lang Switcher and I would like to have the ability to change the flags displayed by the cursor. I have to admit that I had a peek with a resource editor in the .EXE file, but couldn't find it in usable form (i.e. BMP or ICO). Could you do something in that direction? It would be a good idea to be able to specify the size and bitmap of the flag. I'm not worried about displaying it with alpha opacity, the slider works just fine for me. Just changing the image would be quite sufficient.
Thank you!

Take the file Flags.bmp and change it as you want.
Place the file to folder "Program Files\ComfortSwitcher" and restart the program.

That works marvellously! Thank you!
Will it still work if I make the image bigger? Should I guess, the code gets the image width and divides it by 37, which is the number of supported flags, to derive each icon's width?
Thanks again!

It will be possible only if program will use separate files for tray icon and caret icon. Or it may choose 16x16 format automatically from .ico file, where we can keep bigger images too.
I'd suggest to make it support .ico format, because it will allow using 32-bit color with alpha-channel.
